Hunger is one of the most prevalent and prominent issues that most individuals think of when we talk about charity. In many ways, it's a social justice issue that gets a lot of attention and financial support, but in the same light, we're still living in a world where a large majority of the world is food insecure. It takes only 0.29 cents to feed a meal to someone in need. This is our chance to impact a large segment of the world's hungry.
"Hunger kills more people each year than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined." - FAO, The State of Food Insecurity in the World 2014

We believe there is a lot more that we can do, even more than we've done in the past. We're focused on expanding the impact by partnering with artists to create more projects with 100% of proceeds going to Stop Hunger Now, our 2015 partner organization. Check out the projects that we're doing here.
We've already begun working and creating partnerships with restaurants and food businesses in order to help increase the impact that we have to help fight against world hunger. If you're interested in helping us, please contact us here.
Besides donating, we've also started our One Day, One Year Campaign. We're asking people to fast for one day to provide someone food for an entire year. If you're interested in finding out more, please click here.
2014 Miracles Campaign
2014 Miracles Campaign
We're happy to announce that the next social justice issue that we are tackling is Miracles. Through our Miracles Campaign, we'll be raising funds for Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
To Date We've Raised:
in monetary and gift donations.
Miracles happen every day. When we sat down to think about where we've seen the most miracles happen, we thought about medicine. Doctors, nurses, and hospital staff, literally, perform miracles every day. We decided to partner with Children's Medical Center, the 5th largest pediatric hospital in the nation. Their vision is "giving children tomorrow." The staff at Children's aren't just professionals, but they're family for the children who are treated. Children's Medical Center's expertise goes beyond top-of-the-line treatment; their attention to patient care is some of the best that we've ever seen. From nurses that sing Broadway songs to calm babies to doctors that give up their personal vacation time to run camps for sick children, Children's Medical Center is the pediatric health provider whose innovative care produces extraordinary results. We were lucky enough to meet some of the kids whose lives were changed by Children's Medical Center. We need your help to perform more miracles. Give a child another chance at life.
If you're interested in supporting us and helping to make Miracles come true, you can either donate to our campaign using the Donation button above or you can buy our Miracles Campaign Album (Digital on left, Physical on Right) or Miracles Campaign T-Shirt.
100% of proceeds will benefit Children's Medical Center

Put Your City On Our Map!
As part of our 2013 Homes Campaign, OneReasonRecordings hosted a nation-wide clothing drive. We wanted to see how many cities we could put on our map! We're happy to announce that the results were above our expectations. Thank you for all of your generous support!
We're happy to announce that the next social justice issue that we are tackling is Homelessness. Through our Homes Campaign, we hope to raise $3,200 to provide a family in need with a new, safe and secure house with sanitation.
The topic and issue of homelessness is something that most people have encountered or will encounter it at some point in their life. There are about 100 million people in this world that are homeless. Source: United Nations Commission on Human Rights, 2005
There are a 100 million people in this world that don't enjoy the same luxuries or the same benefits that we are able to have. There are so many things that we take for granted. When is the last time that you thanked your parents for the toothpaste you have on your bathroom counter? When did you last thank your parents for cooking a meal for you? When is the last time you realized how fortunate you were just to have a place to come back to that you could call home?
We can't fix the lives of 100 million people, but we can at least change the lives of an entire family. Join us in our hope of changing the world through music.
Have you ever said, "I'm dying of thirst?"
If so, I bet you didn't really mean it.
We are OneReasonRecordings, a non-profit organization that raises funds for social justice issues around the world through music.
For our first campaign, we decided to partner with charity:water to raise $5,000 to fund for the building of a new water well.
If you're like us, you don't spend too much time thinking about water -- it's everywhere we go. When we're thirsty, we flip a handle or push a button. When we're dirty, we twist a shower knob. When our garden needs watering, when our pasta needs to be boiled, when we use the bathroom -- water is just there for the taking.
But for almost a billion people on the planet, it's not. Millions of women and children have to walk hours each day to get water from muddy ponds and rivers. And much of that water is infested with bacteria, parasites or leeches.
When we learned that only $20 can give someone access to clean, safe water, we decided to start a campaign to help. Our goal is to raise $5000. charity: water will use 100% of the money to directly fund the water projects in the field. Even better, when the projects are complete, they'll show us just where our money went. That's right -- we'll be able to see the GPS coordinates, photos and other details about the community we've impacted!
Together, we can make a dent in the global water crisis. We hope you'll consider helping.
